Operation Inherent Resolve is the U.S. military's operational name for the military intervention against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, including both the campaign in Iraq and the campaign in Syria. During the seven-month deployment, the 74th FS flew more than 1,700 sorties, employed weapons more than 4,400 times, destroyed 2,300 targets and killed 2,800 ISIS insurgents.
