Administrative Assistant to Business Owner
Location: Huntington, TX (On-site)
About the Role:
We are hiring a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the owner of multiple fast-growing businesses — including a retail apparel brand, a screen printing operation, and real estate ventures. This role is ideal for someone who has previous experience in administrative roles, enjoys variety in their workday, and takes pride in accuracy, discretion, and being a go-to support person.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to emails and handle routine communication on behalf of the owner
Open, sort, and manage incoming mail
Assist with bookkeeping and data entry in QuickBooks
File and pay monthly sales tax and maintain tax compliance records
Track shipments and verify incoming orders against purchase orders
Support team members and retail stores with administrative follow-up
Organize documents, schedule appointments, and keep operations running smoothly
Maintain strict confidentiality on all internal business matters
Requirements:
Prior experience in an administrative or executive assistant role
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Tech-savvy and a fast learner — comfort with email platforms, cloud storage, and productivity tools is a must (you will be tested)
Experience with QuickBooks or willingness to learn
Professional, dependable, and able to manage tasks independently
Must pass a background check and computer test

Familiarity with retail or operations environment
