Following successful store launches on multiple military bases in 2021, Bunker 27 extends its retail footprint at the Mall at Fairfield Commons in Ohio

(Houston) -- Bunker 27, a leading provider of licensed, military lifestyle themed clothing and accessory brand, announces its newest retail store opening at the Mall at Fairfield Commons in Beavercreek, Ohio. Following seven successful stores opened on U.S. Air Force bases in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Ohio, Bunker 27 has opened its first retail location in a traditional, mainstream shopping setting.

The opening of the first mall-based store allows the company to meet a growing demand for Bunker 27 merchandise from a demographic that stretches beyond active military personnel, says U.S. Air Force veteran and company founder Darren Moore.

“Our first stores were set up on Air Force bases to serve active military and retirees with base access. Unfortunately, not all military veterans have base access, and we want them – as well as others who support the military - to be able to visit our stores.”  Moore plans to open additional stores exclusively for military personnel on U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army bases as he continues expanding the mainstream retail footprint.

“We are a lifestyle brand with a broad and growing customer base,” Moore says. “Our mall location expands the Bunker 27 experience, giving more people access to unique merchandise that allows them to express their pride in the military and show their support.”

The 2,000-sq-ft space in the Mall at Fairfield Commons has a cool, nostalgic, aesthetic décor showcasing unique, proprietary designed clothing, leather jackets, backpacks, bags, tactical boots and shoes. In addition to selling its own branded products, Bunker 27 is an authorized dealer for Black Rifle Coffee Company, a veteran-owned purveyor of premium fresh roasted coffee.

The opening of the store in the Mall at Fairfield Commons lays the foundation for additional mall-based store openings, and discussions are underway between Bunker 27 and Washington Prime Group, a real estate investment trust located in Columbus, Ohio that invests in shopping centers across the United States.

“We are not a traditional retailer,” Moore says, explaining, “visitors to our stores have a very different experience. If you aren’t familiar with our brand, come check out the Bunker, where you can hang out, touch and feel the merchandise,  and see what we’re all about.”

Just visited your store in Ocala Florida. Great store and merchandise.
Keep up the good work. It allows veterans that don’t have base access to see your merchandise.
    Thank you

I was just in this store over the weekend. The store is really cool. Ended up buying three shirts, the materials the shirts are made of are super soft. Love the store and love the merchandise. I will definitely be back for more. Would love to see another store in Columbus, OH a little closer to home. Keep up the good work in supporting our troops.

My wife and I are gonna be taking a trip to northern LA and won’t be far from Barksdale AFB. Do y’all have a store at Barksdale and is the general public allowed on base to the store?

    Thank you

I didn’t know about this store until the other day. I went in and bought a tee. The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. I’m going to swing by later this week and get a few more shirts.
